June 25th 2005 – Monterrey, Mexico
The Dialogue began at 5:05, four people arrived almost at the same time, Jorge Padilla, Hiram Berrones and Phillipe who recently discovered Unitary Perception, his interest to share the experience of collective Unitary Perception attempt made him to travel from Saltillo (city at 53 miles from Monterrey) for second Saturday in a row.
We went straight to the point, from Saltillo came an important question:
What should we do now that we know about Unitary Perception?
A deep silence followed the question, a verbal silence, silence in the mind, a silence that listened the noisy cafeteria where the meeting was taking place.
Then the words… The so-called culture, society, our education, our parents, we have the idea, the wonderful idea that we must do some-thing. That action is shown by movement, that we need to do things, be productive, and move others and ourselves. To convince, talk, reply, be a model to be followed.
Unitary Perception of that movement of thought is distinguished by observing the words that rise during the attempt to listen the wholeness of sound y the contact of the body with the chair is felt, images arise and words of ourselves talking of unitary perception and other subjects. If one remains constant in listening, if the wholeness of visual field is perceived at the same time that process of thought meets an end, the process of becoming finishes, the process of becoming an activist a lecturer ends and begins the fundamental action the unknown.
It is necessary to get to know in experience that Unitary Perception is NOW an Action, and that this action is THE FUNDAMENTAL ACTION, to see (in unitary perception) is to DO. And this is all (and it’s a lot) that we can do for human kind.
Silence flourished; there was an exchange of pacific glances among the participants. Five more persons arrived.
A friend said: “I used not to be able to look at the eyes of people, to hold the glance” He said that the challenge of doing that had met an end, that he felt no violence in that fact, that the eyes were free of intention, to see in unitary perception.
Silence flourished again.
What can we do then, and which is the best way of sharing Unitary Perception?
The only honest way to share Unitary Perception is to try to copy in words our own attempt. This way we can see the contradictory hypnotic process of thought operating during a dialogue, which means that I realize that the thought of my partner is not different from mine, it comes from the same place and shares the same features, Unconsciousness, Contradiction and Ego-centric nature.
Sharing unitary perception without attempting it might be the biggest mistake. Unitary perception of one person seems to induce unitary perception peacefully in others, without the attempt there is the risk of making of unitary perception a point of view to be defended or a simple idea to share. If this happens we cannot share Unitary Perception with our wife or anyone. For sure we will end up in conflict – in response to our current state.
In Unitary Perception the triple feature of thought-hypnosis is transcended; compulsive obedience to behavior and thought patterns acquired in the past, rationalization and defense of such patterns considered important and the total absence of memory of its acquisition, which happened inductively through mass media, our parents, favorite artists, etc.
That is the intrinsic value of unitary perception and dialogue itself, that a de-conditioning (facultative de-hypnosis) takes place, this means that an awakening, which opens a door to a particular kind of intelligence, happens. Intelligence that is not related to knowledge, but to the very fact of perception, of unitary perception of each instant.
An intermittent, beautiful silence encompassed the dialogue, which lasted two and a half hours.
These were the central subjects, I can’s say they were the must relevant aspect of the dialogue… Comments on first and second silence of unitary perception, health, stress, sleeping and dreams, energy and other thing took place but that was not the most relevant aspect either.
The most important aspect of the dialogue was the living experience of Unitary Perception on each participant.
Whit the body full of energy and the faces full of smiles we said good-bye at 7:30 pm, the meeting in silence and unwillingly until 8:00pm in the parking lot of the place.
